Practical - adjective - mindful of the results, usefulness, advantages or disadvantages, etc., of action or procedure; sensible

Lunacy - noun - intermittent insanity; extreme foolishness; craziness; derangement

How can those two words go together?! Well, it's a play on words... In more ways than one...

For starters, it implies that the hosts of the show are not quite, but partially insane (this is not technically the truth though)

Also, we bring you news, usually news that is, in some way, ridiculous. News is practical, ridiculous news, maybe not so much. Therefore, since the news we bring you is usually insane in some way, but practical in the sense that it's still news, it's now lunacy that is practical

And... Since this show was, is, and always will be, Luna's show, she thought it'd be fun to have her name somehow imbedded into the title. :)

A Disclaimer:
The hosts of Practical Lunacy like to talk about politics and religion (We know, you're not supposed to talk about those things in public, but oh well!). We also talk about all other kinds of current events and all different types of news from around the world. We go off on tangents and talk about anything that catches our fancy at the moment. But in general, the more politically incorrect, the better! If you get offended easily, then go away; we wouldn't want to be responsible for your having a spaz attack (even though, that would really be YOUR problem, not OURS) over what we say and do on air (in other words, it's REALLY NOT the show for you!).

Now, a little about the show:
Practical Lunacy is Internet Radio. This makes it different than anything you're going to hear when you turn on your radio at home or in your car. For one, it's ALWAYS live (unless you're listening to one of the recorded podcasts). It's never pre-recorded (again, that podcast thing). If we can't be there to do a show, there is no show that night; simple as that. We encourage our listeners to take full advantage of that by interacting with the show as much as possible. There's a few different ways to do that, and they are all described on this website (under the interact section, just in case you have the brain of a donkey and couldn't figure that out). Another thing is that we are not regulated by the FCC, which means that we can say anything we want. The hosts can, and often do, curse... A lot. We take great pride and full advantage of having our show live and on the internet and we hope you will as well.

Luna and everyone else involved in the show enjoy it very much, and we want you to also! And if you do, TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT US!

Practical Lunacy is broadcasted right here, only on the internet (just in case you weren't paying attention to the type above), from this page.

Practical Lunacy is on MOST Tuesdays and Fridays at 9pm eastern time (do the math in your head if you're not in that time zone, or if you have the above mentioned donkey brain, look it up online).
